Profiles of Firm Attorneys Leland C. de la Garza, Esq. Mr. de la Garza was born in Austin, Texas on July 28, 1959. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1984. He is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court, Northern, Southern, Western and Eastern Districts of Texas; U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit; and U.S. Court of International Trade. Mr. de la Garza graduated from Southern Methodist University and received a B.A. (political science) and a B.B.A. (business finance), magna cum laude, in 1981, and a J.D. in 1984. During law school, he participated in the American Trial Lawyers Association National Mock Trial Competition and the American Bar Association National Mock Trial Competition. in Dallas, Texas. She was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1990. She is licensed to
practice in the U.S. District Court, Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas, and U.S.
Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit. The firm associates other attorneys on a contract or co-counsel basis when needed on a case-by-case basis. Andrea Sheinbein, Esq. Ms. Sheinbein was born in Portsmouth, Virginia in 1954. She was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1999. Ms. Sheinbein graduated from Simmons College and received a B.S. in organic chemistry and cell biology in 1978. She received a J.D. from Southern Methodist University School of Law (cum laude) in 1999. She is a member of Phi Delta Legal Honorary Society. During law school, Ms. Sheinbein was a semi-finalist in the 1996 Vial Hamilton Mock Trial Competition and was a member of the S.M.U. team in the 1996 TYLA Mock Trial Competition.
